The mission of Banded Brigade Outdoors is to provide a place where active duty and returning service men and women may find personal freedom and re-integration by reconnecting with God’s greatest gifts– nature and each other.
Our Mission
Learn about our Annual Events
Banded Brigade Outdoors annually holds three to four major events to further support its mission to provide a safe place where active-duty servicemen, servicewomen and veterans may find personal freedom and re-integration by reconnecting with nature and one another. These flagship hunting expeditions and activities afford veterans and active-duty military personnel the opportunity to completely immerse themselves in the outdoors with little to no civilian interaction. From start to finish, Banded Brigade Outdoors schedules and manages the events to ensure a positive life experience for participants where they can safely let their guards down while feeling camaraderie among their fellow military sisters and brothers. Donations from corporate and private sponsors support these annual activities, whether providing travel money for tracking javelina and white-tailed deer or feeding veterans delicious prime rib at an annual summer barbeque cook-off. At the end of the day, it’s about everyone coming together to make these successful events possible. Banded Brigade Outdoors is 100-percent run by its volunteers who want to walk alongside servicemen and servicewomen as they face their individual challenges and life experiences in their journeys back to the civilian world.
